- 1 lb. green beans
- vegetable or canola oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 stalks scallions, chopped
- 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- toasted sesame oil (optional)
Fry green beans in a few tablespoons of oil until they turn a brighter green.
Add remaining ingredients. Continue frying until beans are tender-crisp and
don't taste raw.
